Los Angeles Bus Charter – Site of Hollywood

Los Angeles is the largest city in the United States state of California. It is also the second largest urban area in the United States of America. On the Pacific Ocean, it is situated in the southern part of California. Los Angeles is the county seat of Los Angeles County. Geographically, from mountains to sea, the city extends more than forty miles. Cutting across the center of the city are two mountain ranges, namely Santa Monica and Verdugo. In seventeen hundred and sixty nine, the Spanish explorer Gaspar de Portola visited the site. The Mexican provincial governor, Filipe de Neve, on fourth of September of seventeen hundred and eighty one, founded “El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Angeles”. The name meant “The Village of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels.” The pueblo went on to become the capital of Mexican province, Alta California. At the time of the American occupation in eighteen hundred and forty seven, it was the last place to surrender to the United States. In eighteen hundred and forty eight, by the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, Mexico ceded California to the United States. In eighteen hundred and fifty, Los Angles was incorporated as a city.

Many factors exist which entices a large number of tourists to Los Angeles. Many bus companies operate in Los Angeles catering to this segment. Los Angeles homes an equitable climate. This attracted people and industries from all parts of the United States to the city. This was one of the reasons for the phenomenal growth of Los Angeles.  The other reasons include the development of its citrus fruit industry, the discovery of oil in the area during the early eighteen hundred and nineties, the development of its manmade harbour and the growth of the motion picture industry in the early twentieth century.

A center for shipping, industrial, communication, financial, fashion, and distribution, for the Western United States and much of the Pacific Rim is Los Angeles. Housing numerous studios, it is also the motion picture, television, radio, and recording capital of the United States, if not the world. Los Angeles, which was once an agricultural distribution center, is now a producer leading of clothing and textiles, aircraft, computers and software, paper, toys, glass, furniture, wire, biomedical products, electrical and electronic machinery, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and fabricated metal. Also important are tourism, printing and publishing, food processing and oil refining. Los Angeles also homes one of the busiest ports in the United States.
